Authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to extend certain leases within the National Park System without bidding.
The National Park System Long-Term Lease Investment Act allows the Secretary of the Interior to extend leases within units of the National Park System without requiring them to be opened to bidding. This applies if the lessee has been in compliance with the lease terms for at least five years and the Secretary determines that extending the lease is in the best interests of the park's administration. The Secretary must revise relevant regulations within 90 days of the Act's enactment to reflect this authority.
