The Mental Health Excellence in Schools Act establishes the Mental Health Excellence in Schools Program, managed by the Secretary of Education. This program allows eligible graduate institutions to enter into agreements with the Secretary to cover a portion of the cost of attendance for participating students. The Secretary may match these contributions with up to 50 percent of the cost of attendance.
