Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025 allows schools to serve whole milk in school lunches.
The Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act of 2025 amends the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act to allow schools participating in the school lunch program to serve whole milk. Schools must offer a variety of fluid milk, including whole milk, and may offer flavored and unflavored organic or non-organic whole, reduced-fat, low-fat, and fat-free fluid milk and lactose-free fluid milk. Milk fat will not be considered saturated fat for compliance purposes.
