The Protecting our Students in Schools Act of 2025 aims to eliminate corporal punishment in schools and promote a positive school climate and culture. It prohibits any student from being subjected to corporal punishment by program personnel, law enforcement officers, or school security guards. The Act also provides grants to State educational agencies to implement positive behavioral interventions and supports and other models to address student behavior and reduce exclusionary and aversive discipline practices.
