The Pit River Land Transfer Act of 2025 transfers approximately 583.79 acres of federal land in California to the Pit River Tribe. The land, known as Four Corners Federal land, is located in the ancestral territory of the Pit River Tribe and has historical significance. The Secretary of the Interior will take the land into trust for the tribe, excluding certain roads and highways. Additionally, the Secretary will accept title to approximately 40.18 acres of Four Corners Fee land and take it into trust for the tribe. Gaming is prohibited on the lands taken into trust.
