Increases the tax reporting threshold for slot machine winnings to $5,000.
The SLOT Act of 2025 amends the Internal Revenue Code to raise the reporting threshold for slot machine winnings from one play to $5,000. This change exempts winnings below this amount from information reporting requirements. The bill also includes an inflation adjustment starting in 2026, rounding any increase to the nearest $100. The new threshold applies to payments made after December 31, 2025.
