Authorizes certain VA health care professionals to deliver controlled substances via telemedicine to veterans.
Amends title 38, United States Code, to allow certain health care professionals employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs to deliver, distribute, or dispense controlled medications to veterans via telemedicine under specific conditions. Requires these professionals to have the appropriate licenses and adhere to quality standards. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs must establish regulations for this process. This act does not alter any obligations under the Controlled Substances Act.
