The Peer Case Management Institute and Certification Rules Approval Resolution of 2025 establishes a program to train and certify case managers with lived experience of homelessness. The Department of Human Services will administer the Peer Case Management Institute, which includes classroom training and a field practicum. Successful completion of both components is required for certification. The program aims to leverage the expertise of individuals with lived experiences of homelessness, create pathways to employment and financial stability, and build a pipeline of quality case managers.
