It adopts the fiscal impact statement in the committee report as required by the General Legislative Procedures Act of 1975. The act will take effect following approval by the Mayor or, if vetoed, action by the Council to override the veto, and will remain in effect for no longer than 412(a) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act.
