Tion Text

Balancing Educational Investments Amendment Act of 2026 revises the maximum account contribution limit for qualified education expenses every five.

Balancing Educational Investments Amendment Act of 2026 mandates the Chief Financial Officer to revise the maximum account contribution limit every five years, starting from July 1, 2027. The adjustments are based on actuarial estimates necessary to cover qualified education expenses. The review considers the average of one year’s undergraduate total direct charges at the 10 most expensive regional 4-year eligible educational institutions. The act also requires the Chief Financial Officer to publish the actuarial estimates underlying the revisions.
