Supporting Local Business Enterprises Amendment Act of 2026 amends business certification definitions and procedures.

The Supporting Local Business Enterprises Amendment Act of 2026 amends the Small and Certified Business Enterprise Development and Assistance Act of 2005. It redefines categories of Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs), including Local Business Enterprises, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and Equity Impact Enterprises. The bill also changes the process for appealing a CBE determination or filing a complaint, removing an internal hearing requirement. Additionally, it repeals the Living Wage Certification Program and a reporting requirement.
