The Deadline Accountability Amendment Act of 2025 amends the District of Columbia Home Rule Act to change the congressional review period for council.

The Deadline Accountability Amendment Act of 2025 modifies the District of Columbia Home Rule Act to adjust the congressional review period for council resolutions. If Congress does not act on a resolution within this period, it will be deemed disapproved. The act also adopts a fiscal impact statement from a committee report and specifies that it will take effect after approval by the Mayor or, in the event of a veto, after the Council overrides the veto.
