Establishes a pilot program to train students as Level II Dental Assistants in the District of Columbia.

The bill establishes a Future Smiles Pilot Program to train students as Level II Dental Assistants. The program will operate for two school years and serve two classes of students. It will provide classroom instruction by a Commission on Dental Accreditation-approved dental school or facility. The Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE) will cover transportation costs, program instructional and student activities costs, and compensate participating students. After the 2027-2028 class graduates, OSSE will administer a student satisfaction survey and publish the results.
