Clarifies the impervious area charge contest process in the District of Columbia.
The CRIAC Clarification Emergency Amendment Act of 2025 modifies the process for contesting impervious area charges in the District of Columbia. It allows property owners or occupants to contest such charges using the same procedures as those for water and sewer service disputes. The act applies retroactively to March 25, 2009, and its fiscal impact is determined by the Budget Director. It will take effect after Mayor approval or Council override of a veto, lasting no longer than permitted by the District of Columbia Home Rule Act.
