The Strengthening Probate Administration Emergency Amendment Act of 2025 amends the Strengthening Probate Administration Amendment Act of 2024. It adds a new subsection to apply the act to estates of decedents who died on or after March 21, 2025. The act takes effect following approval by the Mayor or, if vetoed, action by the Council to override the veto. It remains in effect for no longer than 412(a) of the District of Columbia Home Rule Act.
