The bill repeals sections 2 and 3 of the Streatery Program Endorsement Extension Temporary Amendment Act of 2024, which were set to take effect on December 19, 2025. It adopts the fiscal impact statement of the Budget Director and will take effect following approval by the Mayor or, if vetoed, after the Council overrides the veto. The act will remain in effect for no longer than allowed under the District of Columbia Home Rule Act.
