Allows students to enroll in kindergarten in 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 if they missed kindergarten and are under 6 years old by May 31.

The Let Students Attend Kindergarten Emergency Amendment Act of 2025 amends the Student Promotion Act of 2013 to allow students under 6 years old by May 31 to enroll in kindergarten for the 2025-2026 and 2026-2027 school years, regardless of whether they missed kindergarten. Students who moved to the District after the start of the school year and did not meet another state's kindergarten age requirement can also enroll. Students finishing Hardy Middle School in 2024-2025 can choose between MacArthur High School and Jackson-Reed High School if they have a sibling at Jackson-Reed in 2025-2026.
