The Malcolm X Extension of Disposition Authority and Term Sheet Amendment Act of 2025 extends the closing date for the disposition of the Malcolm X property by two years, to March 10, 2027. The act also approves an amended term sheet with the developer, Congress Park Community Partners LLC. The amended terms reduce the required number of housing units to 150. The developer is required to construct the project in accordance with the Green Building Act of 2006 and provide affordable housing units.
