The Residential Tranquility Amendment Act of 2025 amends the Residential Tranquility Act of 2010 to prohibit the use of sound amplifying devices targeting a residence for demonstrations between 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. It also bans the use of unattended noise amplifying devices targeting a residence. Additionally, the act prohibits launching or throwing projectiles onto residential property with intent to cause fear, intimidate, or retaliate. Exemptions include emergency or public safety devices, religious practices, and permitted events.
