The Architect and Engineer Good Samaritan Amendment Act of 2025 amends the District of Columbia Official Code to offer limited civil liability protection to licensed architects and professional engineers. This protection applies when they provide assistance at the scene of or in connection with a life-threatening emergency in the built environment, in good faith and without compensation, at the direction or request of a federal or District official.
