The St. Elizabeths East Parcel 13 Extension of Disposition Authority Amendment Act of 2024 extends the disposition authority for Parcel 13 by two years, from March 10, 2025, to March 10, 2027. Parcel 13, a 138,162 square feet vacant land at 1100 Alabama Avenue, S.E., was declared surplus and allowed for private development under the St. Elizabeths East Parcel 13 Surplus Declaration and Disposition Approval Act of 2022. The original disposition authority was set to expire two years after the effective date of the 2022 act, but this amendment extends it by an additional two years.
