Waives city fees for administering the Capital Pride Parade, Festival, and Block Party.

The Support for the Capital Pride Parade Amendment Act of 2025 waives certain city fees for the Capital Pride Parade, Festival, and Block Party. These waived fees include those for special event user fees, trash removal, towing services, flag installation, traffic control, and emergency medical services. The Mayor will determine which fees are waived, but any expediting fees or penalties incurred by the host will not be waived. The act will take effect following approval by the Mayor and a 30-day period of congressional review.
