The Settlement of Actions Involving Minor Children Act of 2025 amends court procedures for settlements involving minors. It allows a person entitled to maintain or defend an action on behalf of a minor to settle the action. The court may authorize funding of a structured settlement, creation of a special needs trust, participation in a pooled trust, or any other trust arrangement deemed in the minor's best interest. If a minor recovers a net sum of $10,000 or more, the court may appoint a guardian of the property.
