Complete·9/19/25

Delaware SB72 mandates PFAS reporting and notification for public drinking water systems.

Delaware SB72 amends Title 16 of the Delaware Code to establish the Forever Chemicals Mandatory Reporting Act. This Act requires the Division of Public Health to maintain a website with PFAS levels in public drinking water systems. If PFAS levels exceed maximum contaminant levels, the Division must notify the water utility company, which must then inform affected residents. The website must include a chart comparing PFAS levels to maximum contaminant levels and a brochure explaining PFAS.
