Delaware SB32 amends Title 11 of the Delaware Code to enhance privacy protections for correctional officers, probation, and parole officers. The bill prohibits government agencies and individuals from publicly posting or displaying personal information of these officers or their families if a written request has been made. A written request is valid if submitted directly to a government agency or person, or if filed with the Department of Correction. Government agencies must remove personal information from publicly available content within 72 hours of receiving a request.
