SB315 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to improve the Delaware Technical Innovation Program. The bill allows the state to provide matching funds to eligible small businesses that have received federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Phase I or Phase II awards. To qualify, a small business must have its principal place of business in Delaware and certify that the funded work will benefit the Delaware economy. The Division of Corporations administers the program, establishing application requirements and allowable uses of funds.
