Amends Delaware Code to update the definition and scope of practice for aestheticians.
The bill amends Title 24 of the Delaware Code to redefine and expand the scope of practice for aestheticians. Aestheticians are now authorized to perform chemical exfoliation, physical exfoliation, microdermabrasion, cosmetic microneedling, dermaplaning, extraction, hydrotherapy, and cleanse, stimulate, manipulate, and beautify skin by hand, mechanical, or electric apparatus or appliance or Class 1 medical device. They can also apply lash extensions, additions, or enhancements, laminate or tint eyebrows, and remove superfluous hair using various methods.
