SB279 amends Title 14 of the Delaware Code to adjust the salary schedule for school-based occupational therapists. Those with a doctorate in occupational therapy and a passing score on the NBCOT exam will receive a higher base salary. Those with a master's degree but no doctorate can apply for a higher salary if they have completed additional coursework. The bill also specifies that those with a master's degree and a passing NBCOT score will receive the higher of their current pay grade or a base salary level.
