SB229 amends Title 9 of the Delaware Code to expand the subpoena power of the New Castle County Office of Finance. The bill allows the county authority to subpoena witnesses, compel attendance and testimony, administer oaths, take evidence, and require the production of books, papers, records, memoranda, or other evidence related to the assessed value of real property. The subpoenas can be served personally, at the usual place of abode, by certified mail, or to a registered agent or authorized individual of a corporate entity.
