Delaware SB177 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to establish a Transportation Appeals Board. This quasi-judicial review board hears appeals of decisions made by the Department. The Board consists of seven Delaware residents appointed by the Governor, with two members from each county and a Chair appointed at the Governor's pleasure. Members serve terms of up to three years and may not be of the same political party in a simple majority. The Board can affirm, reverse, or remand decisions, and may hear new evidence if relevant.
