Delaware SB150 amends the Affordable Rental Housing Program (ARHP) within the Housing Development Fund to support affordable rental housing for very low-, low-, and moderate-income families, elderly individuals, and individuals with disabilities. The ARHP provides long-term loans for purchasing buildings or land and for construction or renovation of buildings. ARHP loans must be amortized over a period not exceeding 50 years and paid over a term not exceeding 30 years from the date of the loan.
