Introduced·5/6/25
Draft Text

Delaware SB126 amends voting location rules to allow consolidation of polling places into centrally located centers.

Delaware SB126 amends Title 15 of the Delaware Code to allow the Commissioner to consolidate polling places into centrally located centers for voting. This change ensures that each election district retains at least one polling place and does not unduly burden voters' access to polling places. The bill also allows voters to cast their ballots at any polling place within the county where they are registered, regardless of the election district.
