Delaware SB117 amends Title 18 and Title 29 of the Delaware Code to mandate insurance coverage for hearing aids for individuals under 24 years old. The bill specifies that coverage must include at least one hearing aid for each ear every three years or sooner if medically necessary. It also includes coverage for earmolds and services of hearing care professionals. The coverage applies to all policies, contracts, or certificates issued, renewed, modified, altered, amended, or reissued after December 31, 2026.
