Delaware HB77 amends the Delaware Code to mandate training for school board members on special education due process hearings and other topics.

Delaware HB77 amends Title 14 of the Delaware Code to establish a training program for school board members. Each school board member must receive training on special education due process hearings and other topics at the beginning of their term. The Department of Education is responsible for establishing the criteria, material, and method of the training program, which must be offered virtually at least twice a year. The training may be delegated to or purchased from another entity.
