Delaware HB480 amends Title 20 of the Delaware Code to modify eligibility for burial in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. It allows the Veterans Commission of Delaware to impose a residency requirement for interment, but exempts those who were members of the Delaware National Guard or a reserve unit for at least 20 years. It also makes honorably retired members of the National Guard or Reserve forces of the United States eligible for burial.
