Delaware HB478 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to require current and prospective contractors of the Office of Auditor of Accounts to submit to criminal background checks. These checks are necessary for access to State agency systems, facilities, or data identified by the Auditor or the Auditor’s designee. The State Bureau of Identification must forward all obtained information to the Auditor or the Auditor’s designee.
