Delaware HB438 amends employment practices for health-care and child-care facilities.

Delaware HB438 amends Title 19 of the Delaware Code to update employment practices for health-care and child-care facilities. Employers must obtain service letters from previous employers for applicants with recent relevant employment. For those without such employment history, employers must secure letters of reference from two non-relative adults familiar with the applicant. Temporary agencies providing employees to these facilities are also considered employers and must comply with these requirements.
