Enhanced informed consent for infant vaccinations and documentation in sudden unexpected infant death investigations.

This bill amends Delaware law to enhance informed consent for infant vaccinations and improve documentation in sudden unexpected infant death investigations. Health-care providers must discuss vaccine benefits and side effects with parents before administering vaccines to infants under 12 months. They must also provide information on reporting adverse events and filing claims. The Department of Health and Social Services will develop a standardized informed consent form.
