HB419 amends Title 31 of the Delaware Code to automatically make children in foster care eligible for Purchase of Care, the state's childcare subsidy program. The Department of Health and Social Services must create regulations for verifying eligibility, in coordination with the Department of Services for Children, Youth and Their Families. Foster care is defined as care provided by an approved individual or couple for a child in custody under Chapter 25 of Title 13.
