Amends Delaware law to regulate 3-dimensional printers and require blocking technology to prevent printing firearms.
This bill amends Delaware law to regulate 3-dimensional printers and require blocking technology to prevent printing firearms. It defines "blocking technology" as measures to ensure a printer will not print a firearm file unless evaluated by a firearms blueprint detection algorithm. The Attorney General must convene a working group to assess feasibility and report on progress. If feasible, regulations will be promulgated within six months of the Attorney General's notice.
