Delaware HB382 amends Titles 6 and 21 of the Delaware Code to change how loss of use damages are handled for rental cars and peer-to-peer car sharing. Contracts inconsistent with these provisions are void as against public policy. The changes apply to all contracts entered into, renewed, or extended after the Act's effective date, which is 90 days after enactment.
