Establishes an Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety within the Delaware Department of Safety and Homeland Security.

Delaware HB369 establishes an Office of Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety within the Department of Safety and Homeland Security. The Office will promote interagency cooperation, coordinate state efforts, and report on recurring gun violence issues. The Governor may designate a staff member to support the Office, while the Secretary must appoint a Director to serve as the primary liaison on gun violence matters. The Office will facilitate coordination among state, county, and municipal governments and assist with gun violence prevention and intervention efforts.
