HB349

An Act To Amend Title 14 Of The Delaware Code Relating To Disabled Veterans' School Tax Credit.

Introduced·4/9/26
Draft Text

Expands eligibility for Delaware's disabled veterans' school tax credit to include those with 80% or greater disability ratings.

This bill amends Title 14 of the Delaware Code to modify the eligibility criteria for the disabled veterans' school tax credit. Previously, only veterans receiving 100% disability compensation due to a service-connected, permanent, and total disability based on individual unemployability or a 100% disability rating were eligible. The bill now includes veterans receiving service-connected disability benefits assigned an 80% or greater combined rating or compensation rate, including a total disability rating due to individual unemployability regardless of the assigned schedular rating.
