This bill amends Title 16 of the Delaware Code to update screening requirements for lead poisoning before child care or school enrollment. It mandates that child care facilities and schools require proof of lead poisoning screening for admission or continued enrollment for children aged 12 months and older. Exceptions are made for kindergarten enrollment, where screening can occur within 60 days of enrollment. Parents or guardians must provide either a statement from a healthcare provider or a signed certificate if screening is against their religious beliefs.
