Delaware HB235 amends Title 3 of the Delaware Code to permit the diversion and composting of yard waste, food residuals, and other organic materials for commercial purposes on properties zoned for agriculture. County and local governments can limit the square footage but must allow at least 5,000 sq ft. per 4 acres of property. The Department of Agriculture is authorized to create regulations for this section.
