Delaware HB214 amends Title 16 to establish the Delaware Network for Excellence in Autism (DNEA) and the Interagency Committee on Autism (ICA). The DNEA provides training and technical assistance to state agencies, organizations, and private entities serving individuals and families affected by autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The DNEA Director oversees contracts, manages training, and submits an annual report to the Governor and General Assembly. The ICA, chaired by the DNEA Director, coordinates quarterly meetings and implements recommendations from the 2013 Delaware Strategic Plan.
