Delaware HB208 amends payment methods for government vendors to direct deposit, Single Use Account, or Procurement Card.
Delaware HB208 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to change how the state pays vendors for goods and services. The Office of the State Treasurer must now make payments via direct deposit, Single Use Account, or the State’s Procurement Card, unless an exception is approved by the Office of the State Treasurer and the Division of Accounting. This change does not apply to single payment vouchers, one-time suppliers, forced payouts conducted at year end by the Division of Accounting, or legal settlements.
