Delaware HB186 amends Title 30 of the Delaware Code to revise business tax credits and deductions for electricity production. The bill introduces a base Electricity Production Tax Credit of $4 per megawatt-hour (MWh) and additional bonuses. A $1 per MWh bonus applies to facilities on industrial brownfield sites or sites of previous power plants that ceased operations within 10 years. Another $1 per MWh bonus is available for facilities achieving an efficiency rating of 55% or higher.
