Delaware HB16 amends Title 29 of the Delaware Code to redefine the Delaware AI Commission and its membership. The bill updates the definition of "Artificial Intelligence" and "Generative AI" and revises the Commission's membership structure. The Commission now includes 23 voting members, with 12 serving by virtue of their position and 11 appointed by the Governor, Speaker of the House, and President Pro Tempore of the Senate. The bill also allows for the appointment of a nonvoting student member annually.
