Delaware HB148 amends Title 24 of the Delaware Code to allow the Board to issue confidential letters of concern to nursing licensees. If the Board determines that a licensee's act or omission is a matter of concern but does not warrant formal disciplinary action, it may issue a non-disciplinary confidential letter of concern. If a licensee receives a total of three letters of concern, the Board may hold a hearing to assess the licensee's professional competency to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
